This piece was created using a standard watercolour pan set, complemented by watercolour pencils and a line wash ink effect on gummed paper. I particularly enjoyed rendering the brickwork of the wall, which adds texture and depth to the composition. The inclusion of the field mouse enhances the narrative, reinforcing the connection between Splash and the surrounding wildlife.
