Inspired by Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD), this painting embodies the profound internal experiences that many adults face due to past traumas. At the time of its creation, I did not fully comprehend its emotional depth. The image of the abandoned bunny, rendered with rich metallics in golds, yellows, and iridescent interference medium gels, evokes sympathy and contemplation. The use of browns and creams provides a soft texture to the bunny, which sits upon hard, dusty brown floorboards, enhancing the poignant contrast of the piece.
