I have a deep affection for cats, and having several of them in my home has allowed me to understand their behaviour intimately. Cats can be incredibly loving and loyal, which is why they are an essential part of my study on animals. Although working with graphite presents its challenges, it enables me to achieve very crisp details in my drawings. The eyes of the cats, in particular, are one of the most striking features in my artwork, evoking a desire to pick them up and take them home.
